Please note: linerless stock only runs in linerless-capable printers, which use a special cutter or tear bar and a particular platen roller. It will not run correctly in a standard direct thermal label printer or an ordinary receipt printer. Call 1300 198 684 with your printer model if you are unsure.

Sticks Where You Need It, Lifts Off When You Do Not
This is the removable version of the 80mm linerless roll. The adhesive is repositionable, so a label can be lifted and re-placed while it is being applied, and peeled off later without the fight or the sticky grey residue a permanent adhesive leaves behind. That is the whole point on a reusable container, a piece of medical equipment, a window, or the inside cover of a library book.
80mm is the width the hospitality trade already knows, because it is the standard thermal receipt roll size, and this roll is compatible with Square. The difference from a docket is that this one sticks: straight onto the drink cup, the pizza box, the sandwich wrap or the shelf edge, with no backing web filling a bin next to the pass. Label length is set per job, so a short use-by label and a longer address strip come off the same roll.
The linerless construction is also self-cleaning in use, because the roll continually lifts glue and residue off the print path as it feeds. The coatings are made without silicone, BPA or BPS.
Commonly used for food service (drink cups, pizza boxes, sandwich wraps), medical (food trays, equipment and container labels, medical records), libraries, computer and electronics repair labels, window and glass labelling, and inventory management.

Frequently asked questions
What does removable adhesive actually mean here?
It means the label can be repositioned as you apply it and peeled off afterwards without tearing or leaving adhesive behind on most clean, dry surfaces. It still holds firmly in normal use. Choose the removable roll for anything you need to relabel or clean off later, and a permanent roll for despatch labels that should never come away.
Which printers does it fit?
Linerless-capable printers only. That includes the Epson TM-L90 I and II, TM-L90 Plus LFC and TM-L100, and the Bixolon SRP-S300, and the stock has also been tested with the Star TSP654IISK linerless printer. It will not run properly in a standard label printer or a plain receipt printer, because neither has the non-stick platen and cutter that linerless media needs.
What is black mark sensing?
Because a linerless roll is continuous, there are no gaps between labels for a printer to detect. Instead the roll carries printed black marks that the printer's reflective sensor reads to find each label position. Set your printer to black mark sensing rather than gap sensing for this roll.
How many labels does 82m give me?
It depends on the length you set, which is the advantage of a continuous roll. At 50mm you get roughly 1,640 labels per roll, at 80mm about 1,025, and at 100mm about 820.
Is there a ribbon or ink to buy?
No. Direct thermal needs only the roll, so there is one less consumable to store and nothing for a staff member to fit mid-service. As with any direct thermal label the print can fade with heat, light or rubbing over time, so it suits short to medium term labelling.
Why is there a minimum order of 10 rolls?
This stock is supplied by the carton, so it is sold in a minimum quantity of 10 rolls. If you need a smaller trial quantity, call 1300 198 684 and we will see what we can do.
How does this differ from the 80mm x 80m permanent roll?
Three differences. This roll has a removable, repositionable adhesive rather than a permanent one, it runs on a 38mm core rather than 25mm, and it uses black mark sensing rather than plain continuous. If you want a permanent 80mm linerless label on a 25mm core, see the
80mm x 80m linerless roll instead.
Can I use it on food packaging?
It is widely used in food service for drink cups, pizza boxes and sandwich wraps, and the coatings are made without silicone, BPA or BPS. We do not hold food contact certification for it, so treat it as a label for the outside of packaging rather than something to apply to unwrapped food. If you need certified food contact stock, call 1300 198 684.
Does it work with Square?
Yes, the 80mm width is compatible with Square, provided the printer you are running it through is itself linerless-capable.
Choose this one when you need an 80mm sticky label that comes off cleanly afterwards: reusable containers, medical equipment, glass and windows, library books and anything you expect to relabel. Sold in a minimum quantity of 10 rolls, and it needs a linerless-capable printer.
