These synthetic thermal transfer labels are made from a waterproof polypropylene facestock that resists water, oils, chemicals, tearing and abrasion far better than paper. Printed with a thermal transfer ribbon, the image stays sharp and scannable even outdoors or in wet, cold or dirty environments.
At 33mm (W) x 19mm (L), each roll carries 1000 labels on a 25mm (1 inch) core. The permanent adhesive holds firmly on most clean, dry surfaces, so they stay put through their working life.
You will need to pair these with a thermal transfer ribbon to print them. Synthetic labels print best with a wax/resin or resin ribbon for a durable, smudge and moisture resistant image that matches the waterproof facestock. For best results, run a ribbon marginally wider than the label to protect the printhead. Common uses include outdoor asset tags, drum and chemical labels, cold-store and freezer labelling, equipment and rating plates, and warehouse marking.
