Resin ribbons are the toughest, most durable ribbon grade. The resin ink bonds hard to synthetic label materials and stands up to heat, chemicals, solvents, abrasion, moisture and outdoor exposure, keeping barcodes and text readable for the long term.
Resin is made for synthetic labels such as polypropylene and polyester, not plain paper.
