These white thermal transfer labels are printed using a printer and a ribbon, which melts ink onto the label surface. Unlike direct thermal, thermal transfer print does not fade over time, so it suits labels that need to stay sharp and scannable for the long term.

To print these labels you will need a thermal transfer ribbon. A wax ribbon is the economical choice for these paper labels; a wax/resin ribbon gives a more durable print. As a guide, use a ribbon a little wider than the label so the printhead stays protected.
